Vallikkunnu Beach

This serene beach is situated in the small village of Vaillikunnu in Malappuram district. It isn’t yet a favourite for tourists, but it is fast catching up. The beach is sandy and soft, perfect for a game of beach volleyball or soccer.Sea swimming and sun bathing are good options you can indulge in here. Just the right place for some quiet time.

HOW TO GET THERE
Vallikkunnu is easily accessible by road. Buses from Malappuram town will take you to the beach. The city is connected both Calicut and Cochin by rail. The nearest Airport is Karipur Airport.

OTHER ATTRACTIONS
The Kadalundi Bird Sanctuary is near the beach. It is home to many migratory birds. Visit the 1,000-year-old Niram Kaitha Kotta temple, which is nearby. Pay a visit to the holy well in the temple which never dries up.
