Thirumullavaram Beach

This ‘new’ beach is a recent entry into Kerala’s tourism map. Located in a small village 6km to the north of Kollam, it is known for its lush greenery and calm locale. You will be greeted by canals, streams, and quaint villages provide a view of their own .It is a picturesque view to see the stillness of the deep blue sky reflected from the natural mirrors .The beach is raw and natural .You can still see the fishermen going into the sea ,looking for their day’s catch in the traditional canoes and boats.

HOW TO GET THERE                                                                                                                  

It is a stone’s throw away from Kollam town. Traveling by road is the best option. Kollam is accessible by train from Trivandrum, Kottayam and Cochin. Nearest airport is 75 km away at Trivandrum.

OTHER ATTRACTIONS
Seafood ranging from crabs to catfishes is available at the beach shacks and restaurants. A visit to the beach is incomplete if you do not visit them. Kollam has a number of famous churches and temples to be visited.
