Kizhunna Ezhara Beach

Absolutely undisturbed and natural, the Kizhunna Ezhara Beach is a new addition to the tourism circuit. It is fast becoming popular.Located 11km from Kannur town in north Kerala, Kizhunna Ezhara is enclosed between two Redstone cliffs. The crescent-shaped shoreline is shallow and the sea is calm for most of the year except during the monsoons. It is a great place to relax and enjoy nature.

HOW TO GET HERE
The beach is only a half-hour ride from Kannur. Trains connect you to Kannur from Calicut, Cochin and Trivandrum. Just hire a taxi from town to the beach. Kannur is quite close to the Karnataka birder. For those visiting from nearby states, buses will prove helpful.
