Bekal Beach
This is one place where your medieval dreams would come true. Stand atop the largest fort in Kerala, which is situated on the Bekal beach in Kasargode. Bekal is a small but beautiful port town. It isn’t yet confirmed as to which imperial power built the fort here. Many movies have been filmed at this locale. The place also attracts a good number of archeology students and scientists. The beach is natural and in a way little rough, but that makes it beautiful. The shrub-covered hill slope near the fort is the perfect location for some beachside adventures. Sunbathing and sea swimming will acquire top spots.
